Why I built it

I came to New York for a summer internship and suddenly found myself surrounded by meetups, founder events, and rooms full of strangers.

As a non-native English speaker in a new city, the pressure was not only starting a conversation. It was researching fast, knowing what to share, and remembering what to do after. NameTags makes those invisible tasks lighter without taking the human interaction away.

One calm flow

Three moments. One context.

The same event context flows from research to QR connection to follow-up, so the person never has to start over.

01 / Before

Understand the room.

Paste an event link, description, or screenshot. Get the context, questions, and a research chat before you walk in.

See step 1
02 / During

Share the right card.

Create one room-specific QR pass with only the links you want to share for this event.

See step 2
03 / After

Follow through.

Keep the person, the conversation, the promise, and a human-editable follow-up in one place.
